Baystate Roads Training

Baystate Roads is the Massachusetts Local Technical Assistance Program, charged with providing technology transfer training to municipal Departments of Public Works across the state.  Training is also available to other public employees and private sector consultants.

In addition to scheduled workshops, we also offer the option for cities and towns to request custom classes that are conducted for a specific city, town or region at a more convenient date and time. We also have a Technical Training Specialist, Mike Smith on staff who can provide your municipality with assistance on technical matters related to pavement, drainage, culverts and much more. Mike is also available to conduct specialized workshops on chainsaw safety and operation, hoisting, grader operation and other topics.
