Course Description
Crack seal, surface seals, overlays, recycling, rehabilitation, and more.  The treatments available for maintaining asphalt pavement roads today are numerous, but knowing what they are, where and when to use them, and the advantages and drawbacks to each are the key to success.  The same way having a full toolbox with a variety of tools allows you to best get the job done correctly (provided you know how to use those tools!), having and using the tools in your pavement maintenance toolbox allows you to most effectively maintain your road network.  This course will cover the most commonly used treatments in the region today (and possibly a few others), answering the what, when, where and why for each treatment option.

Target Audience
This workshop is created for municipal officials involved in the planning oversight of asphalt pavement roadways.  Suggested participants include Public Works Directors, Highway Superintendents, and City/Town Engineers.
