Course Description?Flagging is a very important and demanding job whether it be in a work zone, during utility installation or repair, or during an emergency road hazard situation. This course will provide first aid training as required by the Massachusetts Department of Transportation, as well as Flagger Certification which is valid for 2 years.  Contact the Baystate Roads Program for additional information at: admin@umasstransportationcenter.org. ??Who Should Attend?This course is being offered to municipal workers that need to be certified for Flagging in Massachusetts. The First Aid portion of the course must be attended if an existing First Aid Certification is not currently held.

IMPORTANT: A zoom link will be provided in your registration approval email after you have completed your registration.

Virtual Red Cross First Aid: DWT-2022-41-COVID19-41 (2 hours)
Virtual Flagger Certification: DWT-2022-42-COVID19-42 (2 hours)

    During the school year, Tommy is the Lead Instructor for the MassDOT funded Massachusetts Pre-Apprenticeship and Vocational School Program. Outside his school calendar, Tommy instructs a variety of classes which include: Highway Work Zone Safety (Flagger training), CPR, First Aid, AED (American Red Cross), OSHA (OSHA-10 & 30), and Line and Grade.
