Research and Background
My research focus lies in accessibility, resilience and sustainability in networks. I am interested in solving problems at the nexus of transportation, energy and infrastructure. My methods combine data mining, network science, machine learning and optimization. Most recently, I worked on a project to simulate the network impacts of urban mobility in future cities. As part of an ongoing smart cities initiative, I am working with the MBTA to model and optimize the energy consumption of their rapid transit system.
