For the third session of UMassSafe’s Best Practices for Crash Data Tools webinar series, Greg Ferrara – Program Manager for the Institute for Transportation Research and Education (ITRE) at North Carolina State University – spoke about the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Resource Lab (COVERLAB). COVERLAB is a data query tool for guiding and enhancing commercial motor vehicle (CMV) enforcement. This tool allows queries by a vast number of categories, including injury severity, year, state police troop, location, roadside inspection, and many others. For state drivers licensing agencies and law enforcement agencies interested in developing their own crash data query instrument, this webinar is a terrific resource.
