MassDOT 2025 Work Zone Awareness Billboard Design Contest

Calling all Massachusetts college students! 

Do you have a passion for design? MassDOT is excited to bring back the digital billboard design contest for the third time, inviting all college students in Massachusetts to participate in this year’s National Work Zone Awareness Week. This year’s theme is "Respect the zone so we all get home."

The submission deadline is April 11th at 5 p.m. (EST). The winning designs will be displayed on all highway digital billboards during the 2025 construction season, providing a valuable opportunity to raise awareness. Thanks to the generosity of the Massachusetts Aggregate and Asphalt Pavement Association (MAAPA) and Construction Industries of Massachusetts (CIM), the winners will be awarded a scholarship double from last year's contest!
