Commercial Vehicle Safety Technical Assistance Center

 

UMassSafe kicks off CV-STAC with a resource-driven website. On the site, stakeholders can share their work and access information about commercial vehicle safety initiatives and issues. 

The Eastern Service Center (ESC) Regional Commercial Vehicle Safety Technical Assistance Center (CV-STAC) aids law enforcement, licensing agencies, and universities in the development and/or expansion of partnerships and new programs, and in the replication of existing programs.

The ESC CV-STAC is a resource and information center. Building on the momentum of the Summit, our aim is to increase each stakeholder’s network of support and communication around best practices. 

The CV-STAC website highlights projects and programs implemented by states, culls best practice information on safety countermeasures and current safety research findings, and provides a blog on relevant topics.
