Webinar: Improving CMV Crash Reporting and Training of Law Enforcement Officers

02/22/2019

On Wednesday February 20th, we hosted the latest presentation in our Innovative Initiatives – CDL Compliance & Safety webinar series. Dr. Amber Trueblood from Texas A&M Transportation Institute‘s Center for Transportation Safety gave a presentation entitled Improving CMV Crash Reporting and Training of Law Enforcement Officers. It was a fascinating look at how the Center determined why large truck crashes were being underreported and the ways they worked toward rectifying this issue, through the development of refined training materials and resources. Samples of these materials (including tip cards and a self-assessment quiz) will be posted soon.
