Webinar: Inside the Connecticut Crash Data Repository
On December 5th, UMassSafe hosted the first of three webinars on best practices for data query tools. The webinar was conducted by Dr. Eric Jackson, and covered the Connecticut Crash Data Repository developed in collaboration between the state and the Connecticut Transportation Safety Research Center (CTRSC) at the University of Connecticut. This data query tool proved to be incredibly powerful and refined in their ability to sort and differentiate types of crash data. For SDLAs interested in developing their own crash data query instrument, this webinar is a terrific resource, and can be viewed here.
Also, if you weren’t able to catch this last webinar, we will be hosting more focusing on different data tools over the next two weeks:
- Session 2: Dec 12, 2018 1:00 PM (EST) – WisTransPortal Data Hub, Traffic Operations and Safety Laboratory (TOPS) at the University of Wisconsin Madison
- Session 3: Dec 19, 2018 1:00 PM (EST) – COVERLAB Analytics, and the Institute for Transportation Research and Education (ITRE) at North Carolina State University
